What is your idea worth spreading?

Open Education Resources (OERs)! According to Wikipedia, OERs are “educational materials and resources offered freely and openly for anyone to use and under some licenses to re-mix, improve and redistribute.” Imagine a world where students, teachers and anyone that wanted to learn and exchange ideas could do so freely and easily!

Thanks to the Internet, they can! Take a look at communities like Curriki, FreeReading and MIT OpenCourseware—all groups of passionate people committed to helping educate the world for free! To learn more about OERs, click here. Improving educational access through open education resources… Now that is an idea worth spreading!
